Born in NJ, I am a recently widowed, self-made, self-educated army veteran. I have years of experience as a caregiver, for both for my wife, and my sister. I have been an IT cloud administrator, and VDI administrator for the last 10 years. I am currently working as an IT Technology Consultant.
I have grown to love this state, and the people in it. The People who live here deserve better than what they get daily from the government who purportedly represents them, but actually represents only wealthy donors. I am appalled by the lack of concern we see by people elected to office about the very real attempt to overturn democracy and the will of the people.
I am active in the community, and offer my support wherever it's needed as time permits. I am concerned with the medical ineptitude that has become so normalized and pervasive in this state and across this country. I am saddened and very concerned about the absolute overt refusal to take care of those who need it because it doesn't benefit the insanely wealthy at the top. We need to recognize that all of this is an absolute embarrassment, and we can do better.
Homelessness should never be normalized. And people who need mental health assistance, should have resources where the assistance can be obtained without regards to ability for payment.
In the end I'm just a normal guy caught up in the decisions made for me and the people I love by people we don't know who have openly admitted they don't care.
The government is being destroyed by despicable people who are in politics only for donor money which are just legal bribes at the end of the day. These are people who have openly admitted they don't care about their neighbor. People who don't care about their community. People who don't care about their state or the people in it.
I want to change that because I care. I've seen things that can't be unseen, and I intend to make good on the promise I made to my wife that I will fight for those people who can't fight for themselves.
I’m running for office because I’ve seen up close how deeply broken some of our systems have become and how much that brokenness costs real people.
In November 2025, I lost my wife of 34 years, my partner and best friend. Her passing was devastating, made even more painful by the systems that were supposed to help us. As I stood by her side, I witnessed firsthand the barriers, inefficiencies, and failures in our healthcare system—problems that could be fixed but often are not. No family should have to endure that kind of hardship while trying to care for someone they love.
That experience changed me and strengthened a belief I’ve held for years: people deserve better from those in power.
For a long time, I’ve watched everyday Americans struggle while powerful interests come first. Communities go unheard, families are pushed aside, and basic rights are treated as negotiable. While caring for my wife, I knew I wanted to step up and serve, but my responsibility was with her. After her passing, I took time to grieve, reflect, and find my footing again. Now, I’m ready to act.
I’m running for this office because our district deserves real representation. We need someone who listens, cares, and puts people ahead of politics and profit. Too many feel left behind or ignored. I want to change that.
I’m not a career politician. I believe in fairness, dignity, and accountability. I believe government should protect our rights, support our well-being, and reflect the values of the people it serves—not just the powerful few.
I won’t pretend to be perfect. But I will promise this: I will show up, I will listen, and I will fight for you. Your health, your rights, your voice, and your future matters to me.
I’m stepping forward now because I believe we can do better and because if no one else will stand up for our communities, I will.

The Oklahoma Democratic Veterans Federation endorses Isaac Mattox for
Oklahoma House District 10. A US Army Veteran with close family members in the
Navy and Air Force, Isaac says that many politicians are quick with platitudes in praise
of service members while ignoring the practical needs of Veterans and military families.
What we need, he knows, are policies that fund quality Veteran hospitals, quality
eldercare, and help advocacy groups. We need policies that assist homeless Veterans,
that address addiction and depression and provide both immediate and long-term care
following trauma. We need policies addressing training and employment for those
transitioning from military service. And, Mattox concludes, we need bold and immediate
action, not gradual and incremental change.
Isaac Mattox believes President Trump is blatantly misusing his office and
overreaching his Constitutional authority. Appointing an unqualified Secretary of
Defense, renaming the Department to sound “tough”, firing competent, decorated
honorable officers or refusing them promotion on political grounds, and reversing
policies recognizing the talents of all service members regardless of gender or ethnicity
are destructive policies undermining morale and endangering national security.
As an elected Representative, Isaac Mattox will reach out to veterans and
families alike, individually and in partnership with state and federal Departments of
Veterans Affairs and Veterans’ organizations, listening and learning from them to shape
policies which best address their concerns. Outreach, he knows, essential to meeting
the needs of Veterans and all his constituents. Isaac Mattox is well qualified to represent
House District 10 and to serve the citizens of Oklahoma. The Democratic Veterans
Federation strongly recommends him.
We have a very large district. The biggest city in the district is Bartlesville. Our district comprises parts of Washington, Osage and Nowata counties. Most of the area is Rural. The light purple boot shaped area you see on the map above is House District 10.
There are 101 State House districts and 48 State Senate districts. Districts are redrawn every 10 years according to total populations within each and lines move based upon the population of a given area. Districts which are larger in area, are the results of low population to area ratio. But changing lines from one time to the next leads to Gerrymandering which enables politicians to choose their constituents instead of us choosing them. This must change change.
Each of the 101 house districts has only one Representative. Each of the 48 Senate districts each has only one Senator. The size and shape of each is governed by population and the Voting Rights act. This is something to watch as SCOTUS has been changing definitions
I absolutely need volunteers for for all types of campaign help. Here are a few things I would appreciate help with.
*Info Dropping.
The logical time for Door Knocking is nearing an end. We will need info dropping done instead. An info Drop is as easy as it sounds. You simply drop off literature we provide to a list of addresses we provide. You can hang the info on their door knobs. You would really be helping us get the word out and encouraging people to get involved and vote.
*Phone Banking.
Phone Banking is a vital job and would help us reach out and make contact and educate and fund raise.
